Is low resolution holding you back?

Low resolution photos holding you back from creating the album your family will treasure?

Frequently I hear the comment, ”I can’t use the photos I have in an album because they aren’t high resolution”.  Maybe you took them with your phone or maybe they were from the pre-digital age & were scanned.  I’m currently working on an album with photos from the 1950’s and as you may suspect, they are low resolution.

So let me say it now, don’t leave these memories behind just because they might be low resolution! The oldest photos can be the most precious and worth saving.  When you find a shoebox full of your grandparent’s photos in the attic, you don’t think how faded they are.  You are transported to a time when they were young and all the stories you have heard come to life with a window back to that time.

See my album page? One photo is low res and one is blurry, but it is the memory and the connection to dad that I won’t let be forgotten.  It is why I am in the business of preserving these little moments . .. and making big memories.

Another reason print matters.

What’s on your cover?

Acrylic album-covers look like glass. They give your wedding or travel album a beautiful crystal clear sharp touch. It will add a sleek and modern addition to your coffee table and they are made to last 100 years (or more).  A true keepsake. . .

because print matters.

“Where to Begin?”

Julia Nix-6

The biggest question I get asked is “where to begin?”

I have worked with busy clients that have little free time. They know they want to preserve their precious family moments and that they will appreciate having a way to look back on these moments down the road from now.  They hand over their family photos and get back to the job of keeping the household running, content in knowing that a beautiful keepsake is in the works and that when it is delivered they will get to browse through all those memorable moments that meant enough for them to take a quick pic.

I have also worked with clients that know just what they want their album to look like.  They like thinking of all their precious moments framed or unframed, embellished or simply formatted. They spend the time with me to work through the details. They like being given the options without having to learn software and publishing.

Either way, once it is printed they have a keepsake that is just their style.

This October,  schedule a free consultation and you’ll not only have begun, but will be well on your way to holding your album in your hands.

Getting it done.

My to-do list is always long, but turning your photos into an everlasting keepsake is my passion. I believe it is worth it for something that will last forever. That’s what keeps me going. We all have a ton of to-dos, some on paper some not, but don’t let time fly by without saving a few of those precious memories. You know one day you’ll look back and wish you had captured a few more of them. If rounding up your photos, finding album software and designing your own book sounds overwhelming, don’t put it off, pass it on.  And check it off YOUR list.
